Project Overview
Underhazer is a first-person shooter with a twist, instead of simply taking down enemies, players find themselves solving puzzles and navigating mazes that challenge both instinct and logic.
I worked as the UX designer, running playtests and feedback sessions that shaped everything from character feel to moment-to-moment experience, fine-tuning how the game plays and flows.

I interviewed 6 users about the characters that caused confusion and asked them what they thought about the characters. I then analyzed the answers and told the character designers what parts needed to be modified and what parts of the design were successful.

We conducted playtests and questionnaires with up to 40 players. By comparing the differences in satisfaction with the UI, combat mechanism, and exploration path by group, and using the LDA Clustering Algorithm, we were able to identify key areas for focus and solutions.
